Information you give us. When you complete a form on this site we collect your name, email address and telephone number, together with whatever you tell us about what you are looking for — price range, property type, bedrooms, neighbourhoods, timing, and any notes you add. On a home evaluation or home value request we also collect the property address and its details.
Information collected automatically. We record which page you first arrived on, which page you submitted a form from, the date and time, and standard web analytics such as approximate location, device and browser. Where you reach us from an online advertisement we also record the advertising click identifier supplied by Google or Microsoft (for example gclid) and any campaign parameters in the link. These identifiers are stored in your browser for up to 90 days so that a form you complete later can be connected to the advertisement you originally clicked.
Consent. Where a form asks you to opt in to receive listings or market updates, we record that you consented, the date and time, and the exact wording you agreed to.
Information from our CRM provider. Our customer relationship management system may automatically supplement your record with business information drawn from public and third-party sources, such as occupation or professional profile.
We use this information to respond to your enquiry and provide the real estate services you asked for; to send you property listings and market updates where you have consented to receive them; to measure which advertising and search terms bring people to our site; and to improve the site itself.
We do not sell your personal information.
Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation requires your consent before we send you commercial electronic messages. We send marketing email only to people who have expressly opted in. Every such message identifies us and includes an unsubscribe link, and you may withdraw consent at any time — either through that link or by emailing us at the address below. We will action a withdrawal promptly.
Replying to your enquiry is not marketing, and we may respond to you directly whether or not you opted in to marketing email.
We use the following providers to operate this site and our business. Each processes information on our behalf under its own privacy policy.
Formspree — delivers form submissions to us by email.
BoldTrail (Inside Real Estate) — our customer relationship management system, which stores your contact record and search criteria and sends the property alerts and email you have consented to.
Google Analytics — website usage measurement.
Google Ads — advertising measurement, including whether an enquiry followed an advertisement.
Meta (Facebook) Pixel — advertising measurement.
CREA DDF® — supplies the MLS® listing data shown on this site.
Cloudflare — hosts this website and the service that passes your enquiry to our CRM.
Google Firebase — provides the sign-in for client accounts and stores your account record and saved listings.
Storage outside Canada. Several of these providers are based in the United States, and your information may be stored or processed there. While it is held in another country it may be accessible to the courts and law enforcement of that country under its laws.
You can browse and enquire without an account. If you choose to create one, we collect your name, email address and a password, which is stored in an encrypted form we cannot read. Your account holds the listings you save and any tour list you build, so that they are there when you return.
Accounts and saved listings are held in Google Firebase on our behalf. Saving a listing is not a request to be contacted, and does not on its own sign you up for marketing email — that requires the separate consent described in section 3. If you send us a tour request from your saved listings, the homes you selected and your preferred timing are sent to us and recorded on your contact record.
If you no longer want an account, email admin@motherdaughterteam.ca and we will delete it and everything saved in it.
We keep enquiry and client records for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet the record-keeping obligations that apply to real estate brokerages in Ontario. Advertising click identifiers stored in your browser expire after 90 days. You may ask us to delete your information at any time, subject to those obligations.
This site uses cookies and browser storage for analytics, for advertising measurement, and to remember the advertising click identifier described above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; parts of the site may not work as intended if you do.
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. Credentials for the services we use are held in secure server-side storage and are never exposed in your browser. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Under Canadian privacy law you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and withdraw consent to marketing at any time. Contact us using the details below and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
We update this policy when our practices change. The date below reflects the most recent revision.
